The "Manas" Airport in Bishkek has changed its IATA code from FRU to BSZ.

The decision was made in accordance with the provisions of IATA Resolution 763, which regulates the procedure for changing codes in the international system.

The code change will take effect after a 90-day period from the date of receipt of the official notification from IATA, sent on May 9, 2025.

The IATA code is used worldwide to identify airports. Its replacement requires technical and organizational preparation from all participants in the aviation industry.
