On June 5, 2026, two five-month-old Himalayan bear cubs were successfully delivered from Vladivostok to the Yekaterinburg Zoo via flight U6-572. The cubs had previously undergone rehabilitation in the village of Alekseevka and are now ready to settle into their new home.

The two orphaned twin brothers had been staying at the "Tiger" rehabilitation center since mid-March. Prior to their departure, the animals received all necessary immunizations and treatments, and underwent a thorough examination by a veterinarian. Following these procedures, the cubs were officially certified as healthy. Representatives from Rosselkhoznadzor (the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) verified that all veterinary rules and requirements were strictly followed to ensure a safe journey for the animals.
